Our Mission is to provide a quality Emergency Response service for Oil Spill Clean-Ups, a full professional installation and maintenance service on all Fuel Oil Tanks, fully complying with all guidelines and regulations as issued by OFTEC, the Environment Agency and UK Spill Association.
Does Yours Comply?
Oil Storage Regulations as set out and enforced by the Environment Agency state that tanks, drums or other containers must be strong enough to hold the oil without leaking or bursting and must be positioned away from any vehicle traffic to avoid damage from collision.
** The container must also be that of bunded type **
New Oil Storage Regulations state that an oil store will be considered at “significant risk” if it is located within 10 metres of a watercourse or 50 metres of a well or borehole.
